About Me

I discovered my love of veterinary medicine at the age of 15, when I got to start learning equine first aid from my horse trainer. I nurtured that love throughout my undergraduate studies at UC Davis, my time working as a veterinary assistant in both equine ambulatory practice and small animal practice, and my time at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. While in vet school, I developed an interest in integrative medicine and fear free practice, and became fear free certified prior to graduating in 2018. I spent five years working in general practice before enrolling in Chi University to continue my studies into integrative and Traditional Chinese veterinary medicine, and became certified in veterinary acupuncture in 2024. When I’m not working, you can find me practicing martial arts, crafting, and spoiling my beloved cats Katana and Ryuko.
